Rayra Fortunato is a political scientist and communications strategist with over a decade of experience in media and advocacy. Holding a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the University of Coimbra and a master's degree in Political Science from the University of Lisbon, Rayra brings a deep understanding of European and Latin American politics. As the External Communications Manager at European Youth Press, she leads digital campaigns and content strategies to empower young journalists across Europe. Her previous experience includes roles at the UNDP, the Brazilian Institute of Political and Electoral Research, and the European Parliament, where she honed her skills in media strategy, data analysis, and political communication. Passionate about media independence and civic engagement, Rayra excels in creating impactful campaigns that drive social change.
