Anastasiia was born and raised in Russia, St. Petersburg. In 2018 she received a BA in Asian Studies majoring in history of Mongolia in Saint Petersburg State University. Anastasiia also holds two master’s degrees from Leiden University (East Asian Studies:China, 2020) and Peking University (China Studies: Politics and International Relations, 2021) and speaks four foreign languages (English, German, Chinese and Mongolian).
Anastasiia is passionate about journalism and communications as well as active participation of youth in decision-making processes. Through her work and volunteering at MYCP and EYP, she supports young people getting involved in international migration policy making and promoting youth media and press freedom in Europe.
