Katarina Popović is a project manager with over six years of experience managing diverse projects in media development, human security, and regional cooperation. She has led initiatives in digital democracy, press freedom, disinformation counteraction, socio-economic development, and peacebuilding across the Western Balkans and Europe, ensuring their successful implementation and high impact.
Currently, she manages Pulse Z at European Youth Press and grassroots human security projects at the Embassy of Japan in Belgrade. With previous roles at the UN Office in Belgrade (UNOB) and the Western Balkans Fund (WBF), she has extensive experience in political and media monitoring, event management, cross-sector partnerships and strategic communication.
Katarina holds an MA in Peace, Security, and Development and a BA in General Linguistics, and is fluent in Serbian, English, Japanese, and Italian.
